Ian currently works at BT as a HR specialist after undertaking a number of different roles in a 42 year career.
A supporter of the club since 1965, and a witness to Hunslet playing at Wembley twice. He became a volunteer helper in 1998 and has since covered a variety of roles including Chairman. Currently overseeing the home match-days, ensuring the stadium is ready before spectators arrive, welcoming visiting directors, match-day speeches. He is the match-day representative of the club at away games undertaking speeches in reply to the home directors. As well as been responsible for the in house photography for the website and programme, along with a variety of jobs during the week.
Ian Lives in Beeston with wife Diane who also helps on a match-day in the sponsors lounge, son Scott who records home and away games plus production of the club DVD’s and Hunslet TV, daughter Nicola , the club welfare officer and who helps with match-day team sheets, player rehabilitation massage and newcomer to the team Kim who does match-day stats for the DVD’s and match-day volunteer.
