Hunslet Hawks are proud to announce that national building & timber merchants chain Gibbs & Dandy have agreed to sponsor Harry Hawk on a significant five figure three year package that will see Harry continue and develop his community work in the schools of South Leeds.

As part of this exciting deal, Harry Hawk will feature Gibbs & Dandy branding on his kit as well as branding being present at all events Harry Hawk attends. Harry Hawk’s web page and social media streams will also have Gibbs & Dandy branding.

Darren Hoyland, Gibbs & Dandy’s area manager commented “I was lucky enough to be invited to the recent Leeds and Wakefield games, and I was blown away with the enthusiasm of the fans, and after hearing first hand about the club’s tremendous community work, I was very keen to get involved. Nationally, we have a policy of getting involved with sport in the community, and this feels like a perfect fit”.

Hawks commercial director Andy Hemingway added “To bring on board a massive brand like Gibbs & Dandy is huge boost to the club, and adds to our already strong construction portfolio. Apart from being a great bloke, Darren is a sports fanatic, and we expect to be seeing him at home matches, where he will be entertaining friends and business colleagues”.

Gibbs & Dandy were founded 170 years ago, and have 30 branches nationwide.
