The last Bank Holiday of the 2019 Summer has now passed and Hunslet RLFC are delighted to confirm details of the highly regarded Hunslet RLFC Christmas Luncheon where this year we will be joined by sports personality Mick Quinn.
The afternoon which is always a highlight of the club’s Calendar, will take place on Friday 13th December in the new Emerald Suite at the Emerald Headingley Stadium. The Suite, which is one of the premier venues in Yorkshire, looks over both the Rugby League pitch and the iconic Yorkshire CCC pitch where Ben Stokes excelled on Sunday to secure a vital win for England vs Australia in the current Ashes series.
As usual, the event promises to be the perfect way to kick off the Christmas celebrations. The afternoon will be hosted by MC Mick ‘Braddy’ Bradshaw and he’ll be joined by top Comedian John Gillan. Former footballer Mick Quinn played for a number of clubs including Newcastle United, Coventry City, Portsmouth and even ventured to Greece to play for PAOK Thessaloniki. As well as a regular on national sports radio Station talkSPORT, Mick Quinn decided to become a horse racing trainer on his retirement from Football and now has stables at the HQ of Horse Racing in Newmarket.

“Leeds a vibrant sporting city, steeped in a wealth of Rugby League history and what a fantastic venue to hold the Luncheon. I look forward in sharing stories about my footballing career with a big crowd, working with my good friend Mick ‘braddy’ Bradshaw and help raise a few quid for such an historic rugby league club!”
Tickets for the event which includes a three course festive meal, auction and raffle are available at £45 with tables of 8 or 10 available.
