Following the latest Government advice surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, Hunslet RLFC has taken the decision to temporarily suspend its Lifeline lottery with immediate effect.
BETFRED League 1 leaders Hunslet aim to hit the ground running in their promotion bid as and when Rugby League returns to action following the coronavirus lockdown.
Hunslet’s head coach Gary Thornton could, once the 2020 Betfred League 1 campaign resumes, reap the reward for building a squad comprising players of strong character as well as ability.
Given the current uncertain situation the club consider it financially prudent to withdraw the job vacancy for the Lottery/Commercial Manager position.
At yesterday’s board meeting it was decided to postpone the 2020 HIST elections so that current members can give full attention to the significant challenges facing the club as it relates to the Covid-19 virus.
